The Orange County California Courts have instituted live streaming of proceedings in several courtroom departments covering criminal law matters. Orange County Courts have led the way for years in mandating online filings and electronic service of pleadings. I’m not surprised at this earliest use of technology to adapt to the Covid-19 restrictions while maintaining the need for the safety and due process of all concerned.
